The Old Novi Pazar Çarşı is a cultural and historical whole occupying parts of the city lying on the right bank of the Raška River. This old urban core contains significant cultural monuments dating from the 15th–19th centuries, such as the Altun-alem Mosque, the Arap Mosque with a number of commercial buildings in it immediate vicinity, the Old Isa-bey hamam etc.
