Isabey's hammam [Turkish bath], also known as the Novi Pazar Old Hammam, was erected by the founder of Novi
Pazar, Isa-bey Ishaković, between the sixties and seventies of the 15th century. It is located near the old
Novi Pazar Çarşı Stara čaršija, on the right bank of the river Raška. It belongs to a group of double
hammams, divided by a massive wall into two parts, one for men and one for women, containing multiple rooms.
Each room is topped by a dome, eleven in total. The domes are of different dimensions and contain hexagonal
openings. The old Isa-bey’s hammam has been declared a cultural monument of great importance.
